quick question, out of curiosity

say i had a veg and bud room and i only want my air from both rooms to go out through 1 outlet. could i use a 10" fan conected to a 'T' or 'Y' juction. reducing the bud box vent to 6" ducting and use a filter on this 1. then reduce the veg box side to 4" and use no filter.

both the bud and veg outlets total to the size of the fan that is blowing the air out. the only thing that cincerns me about this is..... wont the filter make it harder to pu ll air through??? meaning the veg cab will shift more air, regardless of the size difference??

A 10" vent is substantially larger than a 6" and a 4" vent.

6" vent=28.26 sq in
4" vent=12.56 sq in
10" vent=78.5 sq in

You could run an 8"--50.24 sq in--and still be oversized.

If the fans in the flower room are shut off during the dark cycle (as is usually the case), you will need some kind of damper system.

no therell be no switching the fans off on a night. but thanks i shoulda thought about cfm and all that lol.
