I have been using Dutch Master for DWC, and they recommend cutting back in the last two weeks. 1100, 900, 200 p.p.m. or something like that. If the tops of my girls are done, but the underside is still a bit underdeveloped, should I run the nutes full strength until I fully cut them down? I was also wondering if even my girls are all fully developed, if I should run my nutes at full strength until the end, or keep following their recommended growth chart?

I hve been feeding right to the chop lately.....not a hvy feed but I still feed them. I used to cut the feed and go to straight water the last 10 days or so....but after feeding a Cpl right to the chop I noticed no difference in taste once cured. I want to provide my ladies with everything they need to get good and Dank. Jmo

Thanks guys. I think I will try both. I am two weeks from chop, and I have clones ready to go. Have a Merry Christmas!

ive been running a perpetual and there is no flushing, the cure takes an extra week to sweeten up a little more tho...

Hey, TOA it is good to see you!

I am also one of those who does not advocate flushing. Regardless of what those who do not flush say, I defy them to taste any difference after a proper dry and cure. However, I do believe that you can see the difference in the buds. You are asking your plants to put on a lot of bulk and weight the last 2 weeks. Why would anyone think starving their plants would be beneficial? Keep feeding your girls and they will be happy.

It isn't necessarily all for taste though In my opinion. If there are residual nutrients leftover in the bud when you're smoking it, it may not burn nicely, making it hard to smoke.

My bud burns just fine. I have been growing off and on for over 30 years and solidly for the past 12 or 13 years. I have truly found this flushing stuff to be unneccesary and not at all beneficial. IMO, the only time you should flush a plant is if you have a problem with it like overnuting.

hey THG good to see you!!! My plants fade even if they are swamped with nutes....the plants know when they are finished and will show in the shade and fan leaves. I just chop trim hang and jar.... i brown bag them if they are big colas to try and get them to dry a little more evenly.

i don't flush at all anymore. i have tried flushing, if done extensively in hydro, there are no nutes at all in the medium unlike soil which always holds some nutes, so the result is smaller fluffier buds, IME

I do hydro and flushing was bad when I tried it. The plants need nutes until the day you cut down.
