Seed/Clone/Veg Lumens

is 1400 Lumens enough light to start seedlings or clones or any veg?

I know this is a small amount, just wondering. Could i use only 1400 Lumens for any period of time? if so, how long?

That sounds alittle low to me! Go get a cheap shop light from Lowes or Walmart. You should have at least 3500 lumens per sq/ft but I like to use closer to 4500 lumens per sq/ft. For clones I use less I use 3000 lumens per sq/ft hope that helps alittle bit!

yeah it does. i was just seeing if my aerogarden 3 elite would do the trick... i dont really care, but i was wondering anyhow... since i already got one i figured id ask..
