Due to my newbness I apparently got 3 seeds in the same 3 gallon pot.

I now have three 1-inch high seedlings about an inch apart from each other.

What should be my next move? Seperate them now? Let them get a little bigger and then transplant two of them?

i wood try an transplant 2 of em. my friend says bind em togeather an make em grow into 1 huge 3 topper.

If they are far enough apart then dig under them and put in single pots, 1/2 gal - 1 gal each, when they get bigger put in 2 or 3 gal pots till harvest.

Let us know if the plants are too close.

I start all of my seedlings in one container together and then transplant shortly after they break soil and become fairly established. It shouldn't be too difficult with three plants to simply pull them apart with your hands. If they are very young, follow Hippy's advice and try scooping them out with the soil.
