Hey guys, Its time for me too clone and I'm not very good at it yet. I know that longer branches are better. About a third of my girls are an Indica strain and there about 8 wks. The longest branches are two inches, will these clone? or is there a different technique for smaller and shorter branches?

for sure
most of my clones are about that size.

just 2 or 3 nodes above the cut is all you need IME

Ok, now for my curiosity, why do you need 2-3 nodes above the cut?

i mentioned to leave 2-3 nodes above your cut because i've never really tried smaller ones.
unless it was real real stretchy.. for me, the whole cutting would basically be burried under my peat puck then ;)
can't see why they wouldn't work besides that though ;)

good luck :)

everyone has their own successful ways to clone, you'll find yours.
i do recommend carefully peeling down the lowest node above your 45* cut (gives more rooting area) if these are big enough to that with, that is.
and nip your fan leaves in half (retains moisture)
might help with your success rate
:)

kaotik, could you (or anyone) elaborate on this?
