There is only one thing that will organically keep termites away from your plants, that I have found. Diatomaceous earth. Basically ground coral. Mix it in with the soil you are going to grow in. Make sure it is as deep as your root system. I lost a big patch several years ago, due to termites. I have not lost any, to termites, since I started using Diatomaceous earth.

As said Diatomaceous earth down here red lake makes it good for pigs dogs rabbits chickes you can eat it. but just mix it with soil for your grow will work.

ever get control over the termites ? I haven't been on in several years but a couple year the termites about done me in.
Worse thing plants start budding, head high, then just start dying for no reason. Pull the dying ones and the root ball is covered with small white termites which go thru the roots ,up the inside of the stem.
I used D.E when planting, mixing a cup with the existing soil. whether its a fix,i dont know for sure.
