Since there have been several threads started on this, I thought I would start another one :giggle:.

MarP is aware of this and is checking it out. Hopefully it is nothing. I do not seem to have any ill effects from it and my security program could not find any problems when it checked.

I am checking in frequently and will keep you updated if we discover anything.

It is something. I got hit with the malware it tells you the FBI wants you to pay a $300 fine and so on and locks down your pc. It did take all day for it to go active. I had to do a system restore back 3 days. I am logged on using Opera and it does not get hit. But tested Firefox and IE and both those browsers are affect by this. I had this happen a few months back. The web site and to clear the malware off there server. So if anyone is seeing the malware stop using this site unless you go to a different browser like Opera till they get it cleared. If you do get hit just restore back a few days. Good Luck.

i got hit around three days ago Norton had to quarantine the trogan virus in order for my computer to start working proper again. scary stuff :holysheep:

Guess I'm lucky...no issues. Windows 7.

I accessed MP with my Kindle Fire and had no warnings or problems. I don't know if it is different because it is a tablet like things, but no issues.

Every time I open up an image in Chrome it gives me the huge warning, and I have to click to proceed. :(

(Just to give you my issue here in this thread)

Ifin it helps folks, I went through and found if yual find home MP page and reload it to yur favorites then leave and then sign back in it seems to have corrected the issue and now can come in normal without the warnings. Hope it helpin yual out ;)

No that will not help. It stops the pop up but it is a malware/Virus it is sitting dormant in your system. I have tried killing it for over 12hrs. It is a trojan html virus. all my virus programs pick it up but will not kill it. I have tried microsoft/AVG/ Norton. Mcafee. I am using Opera to get on the site right now. Otherwise I get the alert.

I have stopped coming to this site on anything other than my iPad which is unaffected. After looking over the full warning page I get with both Fire Fox and Chrome it was enough to keep me from using my pc. If I can figure out how to post the pic of the full warning I got on my pc from my iPad I will. Part that scared me most was that a third party could have done this on their own.

I can snip and place it but I'm sure the mods/admin(s) have seen it... at least I assume they have.

Ok after trying all types of programs. Found one that worked. It is called Trojan Remover it is free for 30 days. It found it and killed it. After that I checked with Microsoft and Norton and all clear. But still only using Opera to get on the site. Dont want to deal with it again till problem with site is fixed.
