What causes this?

I saw this last week on one of my girls, but it was all green the next day. I thought I may have been a little buzzed at the time so I took this picture of a different plant in a different location today. These are very healthy plants that are babied.

Looks like variegation. It's somthing that has to do with the genetic make up that causes a lack of chlorophyll (Kind of like vitiligo in humans where they have a lack of melanin in spots of their skin). Its rare but it can happen sometimes, there was a thread about it on here (I cant find it anymore) that this happened, your plant should still be healthy just one of natures glitches.

same strain?...If so I would say its in the genetics...Ive had that happen befor ...but mine didnt green back up...looking at the rest of the plant...she looks happy and healthy...
