I have a few plants growing and some of the lower more mature leaves are getting brown spots and I hear you arent to cut any leaves unless you must. What should I do... will post pix later.

Pay attention because your plant may be trying to tell you something if you see the problem on many leaves. If they look very brown, funky and sickly then go ahead and remove them but if they just have a few spots I'd leave them alone. I usually won't remove any leaves unless they look very sick and come off with the slightest touch.

Happy Growing!

thanks, in this case people's opinions are taken as lessons. Any particular reason you think? lighting? too much water?

There is a sick plants and problems link in the resource section.
Just click the resources tab at the top of this page.

I think your lights are not the cause if it is just lower more mature ones.
If the plant is in the flowering stage, some of the older leaves will die and you will see other smaller leaves coming on.
When you post pics, give info on nutes you are using and how you water them.
Keep it green.
