Why are my plants growing downward?

Like you have already been told, you need to do some reasearch. It is foolish to take the risk you do and not go into it as well informed as possible. Everything you need to know can probably be found online.

Get some dirt on that baby and keep it moist and warm.

Ok thats cool, I thank everyone for all of your help, but I have been told two different things and I dont understand if I am supposed to put the tap root up or down. I started growing with it up and told that was ok. Now I am being told to grow with the tap root down. PLEASE HELP....
