225's WW, Crystal, and Ice grow...

i would start adding nutts now alright but at at about 10% of recommended and go up every time you fed them by 10% untill you see them start to yellow,
then drop it back alittle for a week of so then go up again,and so on,
this is how i did it with my soil grow and has worked great.
what size are those pots?

These are 10" pots. But they seem to be bigger than normal 10" pots. I dunno haha.

so how high are you going to let them grow before you flower them?
and are you going to do any lst or topping?

I will prolly put the into flower at about 1 foot. Hopefully they will be there, or close to it by the end of the month. And I don't plan on doing any LST. I will save that stuff for future grows haha. I want to see how I do with this one before I get into fancy stuff. I know how to do to it, but I am just gonna pass on that this go around.

i waited untill my smaller plants got to about 2foot befoer i started to flower,
im using 6gallon pots with mine,nice and big!
im just waiting until this grow is finished so i can start my dwc grow,
ive got everything i need except the space!
well theres no hard in topping the plants when they get close to getting too tall, and you can get 2 or 4 colas when you do it!

I could let them go a lil taller than a foot. I still dont know yet for sure I guess. I just hope they make it through the transplant without many problems. Which I think they will be fine.

You might wanna consider adding a second story to that 5' tent--my tallest WW and Crystal are 30-31" from the Ocean Forest, and I'm at week 8 outta germination. I'm in 5 gallon pails sitting on 2x12 blocks with casters (so I can rotate and re-position daily) and I'm right at 4' from the floor. My ceiling is a regular 8 footer and I'm sure I'll have to do away witjh the 2x12 on casters before party time. My camera battery is dead but I'll picture up for you when it gets juiced. Yea, thats why I was tinking I wanted to start flowering right about 1 foot tall. B/c I know I don't have THAT big of an area. I would love to see more pics. I know you posted some earlier that looked AWESOME! Can't wait to see the progress.

Oh, and those are, like I said earlier, 8weeks today. Been under 12/12 since the first day of March, so you're looking at 17 days in flower. Needless to say I'm a happy boy with severely crossed fingers.

Hey 225, this is a fine looking grow buddy ...Glad ya got your prollem figured out...but i'm not one to give too much indoor advice, as i'm only a month into into my first indoor...I'm also growing in a small HTG grow Tent , but you seem to have a lot more heighth ...mine is 48x20x48, i'll try to put up a journal soon ...as i too am having problems w/ pH ( i think)...I'll be keeping up w/ this hopefully, and best of luck w/ these fine strains Stack...I still yet have grown any known strain ...But that's gonna change as i've finally got some decent genetics awaiting germ...And i too have the habit of checking my tent every 15 mintues or so, worrying about temps. ...i usually will just clip the door open while lights on to keep my temps at 74-75, and another tip for the tent if your flaps don't wanna stay open on their own, is use some sticky velcro to hold them up ...just my 2 cent Take Care of those Beauties ...Keep it UP and Keep it GREEN ...

your grow is gonna be fine 225, as for lst and topping, i did both my first time, it was pretty simple and taught me a lot. But this grow i didnt.

This is fact based on what ive personally seen.

Lst and topping, merely divert growth hormones to lower shoots, allowing for a multiple cola type plant.

Lst and topping do not increase yield. It simply allows for a shorter bushier plant, making better use of your lights distribution across the plants "real estate"

I noticed that my multiple cola plants produced little if any more than my single cola gals.

ps, increased veg time, coupled with maximizing your lights footprint are the only way to increase yields. get this one under your belt and you will see what im talking about.

Moral of the story, if you want to maximize your lights capability, then topping or lst are the way to go, but if your in a situation like myself, using a 1000w light in a 4x4 grow tent with great ventilation, kinda negates the need for lst or topping imo.

Just another lil update. 3 weeks and 1 day in, and it looks like I a still trying to nurse most of my babies back to health. I have one that is going alot better then the rest (Pic #2), its a Crystal baby.

I must have done some serious damage to the root system when I moved them b/c they are having a hell of a time perking back up. They are looking better but it such a SLOW process. Whatever, hope they turn out ok.

How rough are you on roots, should go from pot to pot in about 2seconds, did you handle them?

Yea, thats what I did. I dunno what went wrong though. I am really disappointed in myself. But maybe they will pull through?

my plants look upset for a day or two tops, then its back to reaching up for the light, lemme know what you did in detail, i could prob determine what went wrong, but i would need specifics.

OK guys. It has been wayyyy to long since I have even been on this site. I lost this grow due to stupidity. I think I have 3 reasons for my failure. 1) I started using tap water for the first 3 weeks. And my PH was out of this world... 7.8ish. I think I used that terrible water for too long and was too late when I switched to distilled. 2) When I transplanted, I am 95% sure I messed with the root mass too much, and that basically killed them it seemed. 3) And then, after the transplant was done, I think I severely underwatered my plants. I didnt take into account the bigger pots.

I guess it is trial and error. But I wish I hadent messed this one up. Was super excited to do this. Blah.

I am soon ready for my next crack at this. I would really like to try some Auto's. And if I could get the feminized ones, that would be the BEST! For obvious reasons. I have done more research, I have re-read my bible. I think I am good to go on this next one.

But if anyone has any info on the best place to purchase the Auto Feminized beans, please send some insight.

Oh, and I apologize for those who were interested in this past grow. Wish I had a better journal and at least some bud porn! HA
