Rookie Question #41...Trichomes

Is there a better time of day to check trichomes and even over all health on a plant? Do they look their best/worst after 12 hrs of light or 12 hours of darkness? Is it better to check on things with the HPS light off or doesn't it make a difference? Thanks.

HPS off is all that matters to me.
Use a natural light, floro or something or its much harder to tell.. at least for trich's

You definitely want to be able to check your plants in white light rather than the yellow light so that you can see if there are any issues going on with them.
