white spots

i have some plants that are getting little white spots on them...what ers they and how do i get rid of them??? pls help

not meaning to jump in here,but mi9ne also have some vague white spots,mostly lower on the plant.i have looked under the leaves,shook the plants and see no mites. curious myself as this is first ever grow for an old man,lol smoked alot but not grown any.

i too have the same white dots, not sure if that helps..
