55 watt 6400k 4 pin ?

Hello i was at lowes and while i was shopping around i found a 55w 4pin 6400k cfl for 50 cents now do i need a ballast for it? and where can i get the socket for it. I looked around and there is a few different 4-pin sockets.

Those are AreoGrow. I dont know if there is a socket for it alone but that plugs in to an areogrow Aero Garden.

you could possibly look at some fl.worklights. a lot of the have a 4pin connector as well as having a built in reflector and are flat portible and easy to work with..
