There are no stupid questions. Only stupid people!!!!
I feel stupid asking this....
I am planning on xplanting into 16oz cups before going outdoors. I started in little peat pots after germinating in paper towels.

Hi CD...

I don't know about your peat pots but I do know there is only 1 stupid question!!!

I agree with umbra, but I would put the pot in the top 2" of soil, not on top of it. You can't depend on the peat pots breaking down, just planting them in soil. Sometimes they don't and the poor roots keep going round and round inside the pot and nothing good happens after that.

they have things called jiffy transplant kits
but theres no point.
just plant the peat pellet under the soil.

i remove them from the pots i learned my lesson..those things need to be saturated for a good couple days to break down just water them flip upside down tap the bottom plant comes out put in dirt water and watch them groooowwwww

They suck unpredictable as benny420 said be safe ! take care !
