giving you an error? or what?

i don't show much here myself anymore.. the site hates my pictures.
i always have to resize (thus distort) them. maybe that's the problem?

*if you simply can't find it; click 'post reply' or 'go advanced'.. then there should be an 'manage attachments' option underneath where you type ;)

here's a trick for you: take pictures with the lights off to prevent the shaded stripes in the pictures. That is occuring because of the light frequency of the HPS is carrying the bandwidth frequency of the electricity powering the light.

A really cool trick: you can actually measure the dark and light bands to determine the frequency. It looks like there in Ireland, you guys electricity is on 50Hz rather than 60Hz like we are on here in the States. :)

By the way, the kids look real good. it looks like they are growing nicely. Are you having any trouble keeping the temps OK? I see in one pic that you don't have the light in any kind of enclosed hood. I tried that for a while but found it next to impossible to maintain a good ballance of temps. I fought with overheating a lot as well.

yeh i havnt a light a part from the hps in the room so its hard to get a good pik im working on sorting sum light so can improve pik and thanks for the info mate bacicly i have a fan directly on the two lights wich is keeping me around 35degreaz but iv been having problems with keeping the heat in there when light are off i now got a little oil heater yesterday so going to that linked up by the morning hopefully what harm can come from temps dropping from 35 to 8 or nine while lights are off mate do you no thanks for comment

up ontill a cupple of weeks ago theaz plants were very bush i have stripped all the big fan leavs off i was told this helps as they just store food n arnt much use at the bottom of the plants ..

Leaves should not be cut off unless they are dead leaves. Those big fan leaves are like solar panels to your plant. I used to cut the leaves myself when i first started growing but since I was informed not to I seem to have gotten much better results. Seems to slow to plant growth some when cutting a bunch of leaves off. I always did that to get light to spots that were being blocked but now i just tuck the leaves if possible.

I don't know where you heard that advise, but it is not good advise. The large fan leaves are where most of the photosynthesis takes place and the plant needs them. You can trim off entire branches on the bottom of the plant if you want and many of us do this. However stripping off fan leaves is probably going to affect your bud growth adversely.

I just want to say, that the first 3 weeks or more into flower my leaves are reaching for the sky. Urs are a little droopy. I just know a happy plant is one stretching for that light.
