free standing scrubber

I saw the oder scrubber using ONA in the recent link.
It was free standing (not vented ,recirculated the air into the room)
Can a carbon scrubber be set up in the same manner and still be effective?
I would think it could then double as a circulation device.

I'm not really sure if it would be as effective. I guess you could try it and tell us how it works. I would probably just stick to the tried and true method though. Just my thoughts. Take care and be safe.

which they do claim works as a free standing filter, just place it in the room. But it also looks highly condusive to using as a small chamber exhaust, probably in addition to an intake fan.

it only has 5lbs of carbon.. seems low.. my can filter 50 has 31lbs!!!
