so i am trying a new method i put 8 seeds in a jello cup of water 2 days none sunk but one cracked with a tale i guess anything is possible i hope the rest do the same.
now shouldn't they sink?

Surface tension, you need to keep poking them ever 12 hours under the surface, eventually they will sink, if you have persistent seeds that will not sink, they are usually dry inside and dead.

Squeeze them between your finger and thumb, sometimes they pop because they are hollow.
