hello to all, if one wanted to grow out side in new jersey, what time of year would they need to start. can it be done? i never grew outside.

What you want to do is go to the site for The Farmer's Almanac or National Weather Service and find out when the last likely frost will occur in your area. For me it's May 30th...You start your plants indoors a month or so before this date. Leave them outside during the day for a few hours at first, gradually building up their stamina for being outdoors (hardening off), then put them out permanently, when the time is right.

peace...j.b.

pick ur strains wisely................Some dont care for the outdoors

First off, Jersey as a whole has crazy humidity and thus will hinder your growth and bud development, so, as above mentioned try to find a hearty outdoor strain with great mold resistance. Hope everything works out, and try to purify that Jersey water (j/k) i think it's fine.
