Humidity?

First off, Im trying to get my grow room to a standard in all aspects. But Im not really sure what percent I should have the humidity at. I've read that if you keep your' room at a higher humidity you have a better chance of getting females, the reading suggested about 70%. Is this too high, or is it ok as long as I can keep mold at bay? Suggestions please!

Not sure about increasing your female percentage, but I've read in several places that 75/50 (degrees F / relative humidity) was the 'sweet spot'.

So, is it a bad idea to use a home humidifier to increase the rh, cause im at about 41% right now. And I know too much humidity can cause a lot of problems, but I think I need more than 41% rh.
