Many of the members here know this long time farmer and all around kind man. Liver cancer took him today after a 2 year battle.

He was one of the good ones and will be greatly missed.
 
Oh man, I am sorry Mel. I know he was a good friend of yours. He out lived his diagnosis, and that is because of our wonderful plant, right? My condolences.

Journeyman Electrician, Phillip Henry Childers,
lost his battle with cancer in Porterville, CA. on July 29, 2016
at the age of 53.
Phillip is preceded in death by his father, Paul Henry Childers.
He is survived by his mother, Colleen, his wife, Angelica and children Collin and Cheyanne Payne, his sister Becky and her son
Brandon and biological sister Beckee Hanners.
Phillip was born on May 4, 1963 in Sacramento, CA.
He graduated from Lindsay High School in 1981
He received his Associates Degree in Computer Operations from Heald College in 1987.
Phillip married Angelica Alvarado in 1999 they were together
19 years and married for 18 years.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1981-1984 he was a E4 specialist and worked in the oil fields from 1984 to 1987
