hello all, just wanted to ask a question. This seed has just broke the surface of my rockwool. Do I need to put it under light now or wait till it fully comes out and opens up?

What kind of lights are you using? If you are using HPS or MH keep them raised higher than you normally would, you don't want to burn the little gal.

right now waiting for 250w HPS. have under 4 40w flrs. should that be alright?

it wouldnt hurt to keep a light on them before they break the surface, thats what they are looking for in the first place.

I agree with JBonez..

..but with that said, I've lazily allowed sprouts to go days without light, and they turned out just great.
