I have just recently transplanted some white widow seeds into a hydroponic dripper system grow pot. The taproot is about an half inch long. When I look at the part where the seed shell is at the very top the root is purple. I checked the pH levels they are at 6.0. I used B.C. Boost and B.C. Grow as directed. Is that the stem forming or is there something wrong?

you put them in drip system before they Got any caind of leafs on ??

anyway the part were shell is thats were the leafs will come maybe its turning green , but dont wary thats normal , try keep your ph no more then what you have now (6.0) remember that 5.5 is perfect.
TRY TO TAKE SOME PICS POSTEM TO THIS TREAD OR SEND ME A PM

just advice next time when you wil germinate seeds put them in a rockwool or peat pelet , then in a plastic small container and (like i do) on ac/adapter or cable box. (warm place for to day and you see your plant would be 2 inches tall )
