Rooting branches? Your opinion

Good day, good weed
I was thinking of a new way of rooting plants and i would like to know if anyone tried this/heard of it.
A couple weeks i harvest and will be left with a stump. If im quick and carefull; can i cut a 3 foot branch with the same diameter stem from mom and tape it/tie it to the stump? Sorta grafting i guess...
I just figure "stumpy" has a great root system, it should be easy for the plant to mend.
"stumpy" is a clone from mom.

Cant help ya but sounds like a great experiment. you can also reveg after havest if yas leave a little.

I have heard you can graft MJ.... Try it.. let us know how it turns out 8)...Nothing to lose

yes can can..thats one of the grafting ways...also be sure that the plant you are grafting to is strong and healthy..and go 4 it...its an experience..and you can reveg as well
