G,day guys I set up a new room about 3 months ago, prior to that I was using a grow tent to get the feel of how growing was all about,Ok a mate accquired 4 clones for me, he was told the strain was a cross breed, crossed northern light/bubblegum, check out my pics below they are in the 5th week of the flowering stage, 2 plants are in a aeroponics setup that I have made, the other 2 smaller plants are in a potting mix, the light are 2x 600 watters, what I want to know, do you guys believe those plants are northern lights cross bubblegum, they certainly dont smell bubblegum, I am rather happy with how they are growing they appear to be heading up nicely,I would appreciate your thoughts please:)

You can't tell a strain by just looking at a plant, you'll just have to take your buddies word for it. But they do look very nice and healthy...take care..

The only thing that I know you can tell the diff. is if it's a Sativia dominate or Indica dominate Sativias are tall spindly plants with long skinny leaves. Indicas are short stocky plants with wide useually darker green leaves. Then you have Hybrids which is what your asking about, these have gone through a series of breeding programs to find the most favorable traits to create a strain. And these are created from cross breeding and back breeding from what I understand. Hope this helps (but I'm sure someone with more input on the subject will come along and correct me if any info was wrong)...take care..
