storing seeds

Whats the best way to store seeds?I have got 5 different strains,that I paid good money for and dont want to see them go bad.I got them in a black container,they are in some cotton in the firdge.I hope I did the right thing by doing this.How do you store your seeds?

A 35mm black canister works great in the crisper drawer of the fridge
I take a perm marker and label the tops myself, germed a 5 yr. old seed once.

I keep mine in a small tupperware container, in the fridge. I first put them into small quadrangle plastic tubes (the kind that mechanical pencil leads come in). I also put some desicants into that t'ware container. Keeps em' real well...
