to cold? and seperate white widow question

daytime temp 70 and gets down to 64 at night.
with winter coming, i think it might get to be around 55 degrees

would this be to cold, i know i could use a heater, but i am affraid of fire hazzards, as i read alot are started with heaters

is a sativa or indica better to grow in a slightly colder area


also difem white widow does anyone know how bad this one smells, just looking for a heads up

any thing under 60 deg. will damage your plant for sure.

Like Krazey said 60 and below is asking for trouble...I try to keep it from going below 65 when the lights are off...
