Probably because most people think it's an easy decision. Big Bud if you want the yield and long lasting high. Violator Kush if you want more unique quality.

That or a lot of people just haven't grown or smoked those plants =) I haven't smoked violator kush but I can attest to the nice herb that the big bud grows. I really like its high when harvested at the first sign of amber.
