What bulb

So I just got a 30 dollar Hydrofarms 250 watt light reflector with built in ballist at an estate sale, score! Anyways, all it says on it is that it takes an S60 bulb, which is some helpful info, if I knew wether or not it takes HPS or MH. If I use the wrong bulb it wont blow anything up will it? I want to use HPS, should I just get a HPS conversion bulb to play it safe? hmmm

when in doubt, take it to an indoor guy. I have no idead. Have you google hydrofarms systems, yet?

its a metal halide. utilize the mh for veg then switcvh to a conversion lamp. Good luck, bud!
