not sure if its autoflower seed?

hi i planted random seed its currently in veg its about 3 weeks old now and iam starting to see hair's come out and i can see its deff female. However i have grown 3 other times before and none of my plants ever showed their sex until a couple weeks into flowering. So I was just wondering what i should do?

should i switch lights to 12/12 now ? I was planning on having it in veg about a month and a half before i switched.

or should i just leave lights on 24 hours the entire time and guess its autoflower strain?

also what if i keep lights on it 24 hours and it happens not to be autoflower what will happen?


thanks i have never ran into this situation before so any help would be nice

if its auto it will flower out. if it isn't leaving lights on 24 won't hurt it. Just veg like you planned and flower when you want.
