Hi. Let's say 600 watts is recommended for a 3'x3' grow area. If you put 1000 watts in there, would that be too much light? I'm not concerned about heat really, I just want to know if that's too much light. Thank you!

I read on here once that placing bananas or banana peels around the plant during veg will encourage them to become female based on some gas they give off as they ripen. The person that mentioned it said they'd gotten 6/6 females doing that. I tried it, but both of my plants turned male.
