Lovely plant- did you pollinate any of it?

I used to try to only pollinate some lower bud sites, but they don't get enough light. I suggest "sacrificing" something on a branch tip to ensure good seed growth. Also, I find it seems to work best after the plants are in good flower, 3.5 or 4 wks.

Hi Kat, They look a little young to harvest. Please try to wait for 2 or 3 wks., I think you'll find it worth your while. They will swell, frost up, and develop flavor in the last couple of weeks. If you can't keep yourself from trying some, go for the popcorn on the stems and let the tops grow.

I prefer to leave them alone. While the broad-spectrum is appealing, the sunlight in a window is quite weak. Even on the sunniest day, the window provides less light than the plant would get on an overcast day outside.
