Alternating nodes before taking cuttings ?

is it necessary for Alternating nodes before taking cuttings ?

its probably close to a couple ft tall , and bushy.
I took the 2 bottom limbs which had 4 nodes or small leafs on the stem plus the top.
I cut the small leafs off the stem and buried the four nodes in my soil , leaving 3 leafs at top.

2 foot tall and no alternating nodes??? Dang,,i never had a plant that big without alternating nodes. Must have allot of stretch. Got some pics?

If you have plenty of branches go for it.

alternating nodes are not needed to take cuts---many people wait for alternating nodes to sex their plants and take cuts from female plants only

If you want, you can take clones and place one in under 12/12 lighting it will show sex and you will know if the "mother" plant is a true mom
