Buds turning a sick brown

My seemingly healthy buddy plant ( outdoor) have started getting sickly looking brown patches within the bud . Wondering what’s up and can I fix it

Bud rot(botrytis cinerea). Sorry. Try to cut away the rot and keep the plant dry.

That is bud rot. It comes from a moth that lays an egg in the cola or a big bud. The egg hatches and you have a worm that eats and poops and causes bud rot. The minute i see a broken leaf on a cola I go searching for the worm. They can spread quickly. Good luck. Take off the bud rot now and get rid of all of the damage or it will spread.
