This newbie that is going to change his name to the OldGeezer has a question that may have been asked before but I can not find the answer.
After a plant has started to flower can a clone still be taken and if so any precautions or extra measures should be taken

absolutely...
cuts taken in flower often require a bit more time to root

:yeahthat:

Just be sure knife is sharp and you make their last cut underwater. I have taken clones at 4 weeks of 12/12and it does take awhile to root.

I foliar spray with thrive alive 3-4 times a day for a week before taking clones either way. It promotes root growth. Got roots to show on some clones a week into the process, before I pulled them. No room with my big hooker in the closet.
