dead plants, any use?

Hello,

I am new to this and about 2 weeks ago i started growing, well the first 24 hours blew up my "lamp" ...so i figured i would get something more realistic. Now I went back there and noticed the 5 seeds i planted sprouted and grew about 5 cm without any light above ground. Should i chop these back into the soil and plant new ones in it?

If the sprouts are just above the soil, fine.
If they are already several inches tall with wire-thin stems, start over.

ok, ill start over and post pics in the near future, i just ordered 10 chrystal seeds from rhino seeds. Should be about 2 weeks untill i get them.
