First Time Growing

Ok i'm attempting to grow some seeds out of some weed i brought, germinated two, 1 looks ok, the other well. we'll see.
got 4 other seeds germinating at the mo, well trying hehe.

first the two plants stayed under my standard desktop lamp.

i've edited my airing cupboard a lil, removed some shelves and put foil, yes cooking foil in areas to reflect the light. this is a temporary means right now.
as this room i can't do anyhting with it, my gf is off to buy me an 7" fan today to circulate the air. but i can't do no inlet or outake fans. i am planning on partitioning my spare bedroom. and building a grow room in there, similar to one i saw on some vids online from hightimes.

but for now the airing cupboard will. do my two babies, named via my gf.
Aliza and Serenity, and underthe lamp, i feel tempted to join them and get a tan. damn the bulb gets hot and whoa its bright, i've never experienced somthing like that before. hate to feel a 1k watt bulb.

i'll take some photos later to show you guys, gf has my phone at mo, so i have no camera.

if anyone wants to give me any ideas of how to setup my grow room that'd rock. or anything really. total newb here. haven't even grown a tomato plant in like....14 years. so you could say i am a little out of practice hehe.

BTW a 1000w hps feels like around 100 degrees of sunlight on ur face within 3 feet w/ fans off and looks something like this.

Everything sounds great but you have to have proper venilation for your plants to grow right. Just a fan in a box is not gonna do it IMHO. You must have the hot air being sucked out and fresh air being pumped in.

Post pics when you can, I can't imagine an HID in a box with no ventilation, what is your temp under the light?

i dunno. lol, i keep check on it alot and flush air in via waving of a door. i thought it'd hold for a while longer but i guess not.

i need to build a grow room, so any tips i would love.

99inches length.
63 wide
88 hieght.

but i have to build a framework, so basically i need to build the whole room there, its inside another room. but its next to a window so i can take use of that.

so any tips of on to build, ideally 2 rooms, 1 = veg 2 = flowering.
so i can grow clones etc etc.

any help would be great, also what type of system, hydro or whatever. i've been watching some stuff and hydro doesn't look hard to build BUT, the nuts ballence well thats different. well any help welcomed.

go to home depot and but some poly tarps the kind you put over your car. they have brown on one side and sliver one the other. you will have to 2x the tarps because you still can see some light. i just brought some black heavyduty lawn bags and taped them to the tarp and it works well. you can these tarps to section off your room into 2 growing rooms use one tarp across your room and then one down the middle its cheap and very easy to set up.

i think thats a good price, i dunno. i'll have to do the measure ments later,
unfortunatly i don't have Loads of money. So i have to look at ways to build this without it breaking my bank, i know i need an extraction fan, i can do that. and build it so it goes out the window.i'm 3 floors up. and no one above me. so that should be high enough, i think?

not posted in abit,
but had a nut burn, soil being JI #3 was too dense for the plants, i added some perlite, and that didn't seem to help as no change up top, so i got some other soil, multipurpose with added JI, and well when i stripped the soil from the plants the perlite had allowed the plant to tripple its root growth.

also i got squirrel pissin in my plants (trailer park boys).

cats sucked just got stoned on ma weed, so i got me some crocs they dun seem to be doing much either,

still in airing cupboard but this time i have door open slightly and i use a osc fan sucks in new air, going with flow round house from windows. keeps room at 25.5C humidity is 35% bit low, working on raising that.

well i had to go away for a few days, so i had a mate take my plants in with his, unfortunatly his gf and him got in some arguement and the police showed up, and well she mouthed off, the plants where found, he got a caution, i lost my two babies, so i'm gonna grow again next year, thinking of doing hashberry and some other bagseed i have 4 plants in total.

but we'll see i nthe new year, i wanna get an rvk fan first, to help with air circulation and temps.

Man, I'd be pissed.... that isn't your fault of course... but take a look girls n guys!!!! thas the #1 reason not to show anyone your grow!!!! because if u have a fight... (everyone does) then u can get owned! this includes friends you've known since birth, your family, whatever!

esp when their arguement was over some porn she found on his pc.
he could have got a £3000 fine.
and if he resisted. unlimited fine and up to 14 years.
