would a 100watt hps be enough for 2 plants frowing in a 2.5 by 2.5 foot area? Im currently in vegg with cfls and never grew b4 so i was just tryin to get some info for lighting in flouring stage

also its a 120 volt(dont know if that makes a big diff.)

2.5x2.5=6.25 square feet. The experts recommend a minimum of 3000lumens/sqft. for veg and closer to 5000/sqft for flower.
Veg: 6.25x3000= 18,750 lumens required.
Flower: 6.25x5000= 31,250 lumens.

Check the lumens on your light and see if it measures up.

My 150W HPS puts out about 16000 lumens. So I guess a 100W would put out about 11000 lumens, which is definitely not enough for a 6 sqft area.
