It does seem high if it is just the RO unit not a full kit IE facet , pressure tank etc . That kit is a high flow model and is rated for cold water usage.
The 100 hydrotech kit was $275 . So I'd hate to see you spend $240 then have to buy a lot of extras on top of that.
