Chatfield Reservoir. SW of Denver just outside the metroplex.

Looks like a perfect place to spend the night on the way to Crawford this coming September.
It’s a real good idea for us flat landers to spend the night somewhere around Denver. Gives us a chance to acclimate to the elevation before going higher.
Should be there around September 10th, just in case you are wondering.

have they finally finished on those apartments yet?

Bwahaha......those aren't apartments......single family homes. They start at one million. The ones in the camera on the golf course are going for 1,500,000.
