What are safe aphid repellents during the flowering stage?

i have aphids on my plants and they are attracting ants..yuck. can neem oil be used in the middle of the flowering stage? ive also read that a soap/water mixture can be sprayed to kill aphids but is this also safe for the plant?

EDIT: I also have browning on the leaves. The tips yellow and then turn brown, ive heard this can be nute burn however i added nutes 2 weeks ago in the form of the balls that you mix into the soil (not in the water) and i used the correct amount and added no more. I will have pictures soon

Soapy water for the Aphids, pics needed to sort your other problem out, the pellets your using are no good, dig them out and get proper nutrients.
