Told myself a few weeks ago if my plants survive for 3 weeks I would start a grow journal. Well, its about that time. I planted 8 seeds total. The first 4 were germed and sprouted on 8/4, with one that never broke ground. The later 4 were planted from seed on 8/4 and sprouted 8/7-8/8. The last sprouter of those actually came up around 8/12. I added extra dirt to the last 4 about 1 week in and that seemed to slow the growth. That leaves me with 7 plants for the math challenged.
The setup is 3x4x6 space under the basement stairs. Three of the walls are covered in white paint and one the walls is a peice of panda poly. I run a 400w HPS and 3 6500K 1600Lumen CFL's 18/6. The light is now about a foot above the plants. I have 2 fans on the bulb and a clip fan exhausting, with a fan outside the space providing intake through cracks in the curtain/poly and the wall. Temps in the space run 86-88 when its 84 or so outside and 80-84 when below 84 outside. Humidity stays around 45-50%.
Soil: The first 4 (one died) are in 70%MG soil control/30%perlite. These have grown much faster than the others.
The next 2 are 70%Scotts topsoil/30perlite.
Final 2 are 40MG/40Scotts/30Perlite.
Doing some experimenting for my first grow w/bagseed.
The first few pics: do I have a male there? It has been almost exactly 3 weeks since it sprouted, seems too soon. And it has been lst'd for about 1 week.
