I know it's hard when you're waiting to see if your first set of plants is gonna have pistils or nards....however, give it a few more days until it is definate. You'll see either the calyx begin to form and push out the pistils, or you will see a bunch of grapes and know it's time to either set...

I was lookin at yer plants, I'd say the purple is more likely caused by low night time temps, and if you have a fan running during lights out, that can be enough to do it. My suggestion is to check light out temps, make sure no fan runs when lights are out, and time your fans to shut off around...

I only check run-off if there starts to be an issue with the plants, otherwise i also just ph the water with nutes and then just use it......Cant really tell from yer pics, lighting is too orange from the hps

Oh, also, the light doesn't need to be very intense, infact it's better if it's not, it just has to be in a lit area, that is constant light...worked 100% sucsess for me

Dude....i did a science project for amusement....If the 1 plant is all you want to clone, get rapid rooter (li'l plug lookin deal with a hole in the top) get it damp, but not soaking....take your 2-6 inch cutting, trim the tips of your fan leaves off, to about the middle, on all the large ones...

I'm sure you can pick up ot-lite grow bulbs in 4 foot tubes at home depot and lowes....however IMO you're better off building a clone/sprout box, and using Compact Flourescent Lights...they're cheap, low enegery consumption,high light output....my plants have extremely tight internodnal spacing...
