Ceramic Metal Halides

These look cool. They run off of a HPS ballast. Check out the CRI rating on these! Almost 90! I might grab a 250(higher CRI).

i did not see where it said they would run on a hps or that they where conversion bulb
I have also been looking to covert my extra hps to mh for veg

They work on a HPS ballast. I'm 100% positive.

All the mh /hps conversion bulbs i saw were 60 bucks

They look awesome! Cheap too! What would be the down side to using these? usually when something is significantly cheaper then it's surrounding products there is a reason but i can't seem to see the drawbacks of this product.

I don't see one. More lumens, better CRI. I might grab one after Christmas.
