does alberta have good soil for growing marijuana

im going to be growing it in a greenhouse and im wondering whether to put it in pots or just to put it in the ground so it won't be root bound

It's always better to plant right in the ground when possible. Just dig a hole and fill it with potting soil and what ever amenities you want. The bigger the hole the better, put in as much quality soil as you can.
