growing in main room

i have my plants in a corner of a main bedroom, is that fine with the space, and the lights, im running a 400w mh for veg and 400 hps after, the room is about 12 by 6 and 9ft tall, i have the lights hung on a pully system, so that i can adjust them as they grow. so the question is would i need to make an actual small grow erea or is it fine the way it is, lights are on 18/6 now and will be 12/12 soon hopefully by mid Nov.

its fine the 400 will only cover a certain ammount of sq growing feet but yea if you keep it within that area be fine, of course it would be better if it was enclosed so the light would reflect but you should be alright baby

You could get some black and white poly or mylar and line the 2 walls in the corner.

Just rotate the plants around every so often so they all get even lighting.

Make sure the room stays dark during the 12 hours of darkness.

400w will cover a 5x5 area, you're good man.
