Sam and I were good friends

Sam was a great contributor and the infused simple syrup is his idea
He could no longer process fat/oil because of liver disease and was looking to a sugar carrier
I did some R&D and dug up Modernist pantry for the gum mixture to bind the cannabis oil to the sugar water
It seemed to make a difference
Probably the best person I have encountered on the internet
Only knew him through the cannabis sites since 2019
The extraction method is simple and the decarb seems to be the thing that trips most people up

Own 2 MBMs and have not used them since I learned ethanol extraction
Infuse a couple of ounces into a half cup (120ml) or quarter cup (60ml) of oil

The plant taste of most homemade edibles is a no go for me
I use distillate or heavily filtered homemade concentrate (celite 545 and carbonX)

Started out making edibles for a sick family member who had issues swallowing after cancer surgery
Got into the recreational and ended up making infused flavored gelatin pearls for fancy drinks
Figured I went too far at that point

Med cultivar to check out 10%THC/15%CBD
Currently using thunder struck which has the above ratio
It makes great sleep meds and is currently being used in place of Ambien by a non cannabis user
