roots?

Hi guys

A question..

If the roots have emerged from the bottom of the pots in a hydro drip system, are they ok to sit in the tray under the light with the water flowing over them? ( the tray is empty with just the pots sitting in it). or do I need to cover them with substrate?

you shouldn't have them exposed to light.... roots don't like light much... also.. algae will build up on them.
