is there a certain time of year to buy seeds for quality and quantity. i mean do they run short on inventory in spring planting?

If you're buying seeds for indoor strains, that are off plants grown indoors for control of pollination (=reputable breeders), don't worry. I've never tried to buy a 5lb sack of outdoor beans so can't speak to the cyclical nature of those lol
