From EZ cloner to soil?

I currently am using a EZ cloner to clone my mom. When I go from my EZ cloner to soil should I still use mild lighting or should I increase the light as if I am Veging? Also, I put them into xlarge clear cups so I can see the roots if they are growing, is that a bad idea cuz, I read somewhere that roots should not be exposed to light?

imo i would treat them as vegging once roots are established and in soileace:

go with opaque cups to avoid the possibility of having your roots dry up and to prevent algae growth

NO light on the roots it is a very bad thing for them...take care..
